ST 401 CAYMAN

Nonlinear Locator ST 401 "CAYMAN" is a portable modification of the base model ST 400 "CAYMAN". The ST 401 retains all operational modes implemented in the base ST 400 model. The difference between the ST 401 and base model is the absence of a telescopic rod.

Nonlinear Locator ST 401 "CAYMAN" is a portable modification of the ST 400 "CAYMAN" locator. It retains all operational modes of the base model. The difference between the ST 401 and ST 400 is the absence of a telescopic rod. The locator is particularly convenient for working in confined spaces, inspecting small-sized cargo, and postal items. The ST 401 can detect both powered and unpowered electronic devices and precisely determine their location. The operator can distinguish real semiconductor responses from false signals (corrosion, metal, MOS structures).

Description:
The key distinguishing feature of the "CAYMAN" series nonlinear locators is their multi-frequency emission mode, which provides several advantages over conventional locators:
  • Increased selectivity (ability to distinguish electronic components against metal-oxide-metal structures);
  • Higher probability of detecting electronic devices behind partially shielded surfaces (e.g., chain-link fencing);
  • Optimal balance between emission power and detection range;
  • Ability to identify detected objects in audio mode;
  • Effective operation in high-interference environments.
The proprietary signal processing algorithm reduces false alarms while improving selectivity and response speed.
The locator comes supplied in a shockproof case.
