The new modification of the handheld inspection metal detector "SPHINX" VM-612 (2023 model year) combines all the best developments of our company over 30 years of designing and manufacturing handheld metal detectors for inspection.

After undergoing multiple tests in 2022 and certification, this model became the result of our work. It is designed for detecting and precisely locating metal objects on a person's body, in luggage and mail, as well as for monitoring prohibited items in schools and other children's institutions.

The distinctive feature of the "SPHINX" VM-612 model is the uniform sensitivity pattern along the 360-degree axis and the presence of a highly directional zone of increased sensitivity in the front part of the search element. This allows for precise localization of adjacent objects and enables searching even in hard-to-reach areas.

Since Russia doesn't have a GOST standard for metal detectors in 2023, we established the "SPHINX" standard where detection characteristics are at the highest level. At the same time, ease of use and reliability of the metal detector remain top priorities.
The devices can be used by customs control and inspection services, special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and FSB, security companies and other services as portable means for detecting ferrous and non-ferrous metal objects.

The handheld metal detector model features an automatic tuning system that maintains stable performance when operating conditions change, such as temperature and humidity, and automatically configures the device immediately after power-on without requiring manual adjustment.

The "SPHINX" VM-612 handheld metal detector model is supplied to the global market under the name SPHINX VORTEX 360 and has CE certification.
