The basic delivery set of the product includes: an inspection rod (IR), a video surveillance device (VD), power supplies, cables, spare parts, stowage and the necessary additional elements.

The product uses innovative technologies, is certified, is mass-produced and has the ITT® trademark.

The latest technologies and highly sensitive television cameras, composite and polymeric materials are used in the production of products, ensuring reliable and high-quality operation of the products.

"Kalmar" products are supplied to the Federal Customs Service of Russia as a standard technical means of customs control.

Special LCD TFT matrices can be installed in PTDS video surveillance devices. In this case, the VD, operating in video mode, can also be used as a computer color display (with a resolution of up to 1600 × 1200 dpi), connected to any PC with a special cable via a standard interface.

The Kalmar PTDS is designed to inspect (search) hard-to-reach places in cargo and passenger areas (cabins, bodies, containers, holds, cargo compartments, etc.) of automobile, rail, air, sea and river transport, as well as to inspect other places that are out of direct line of sight, in different lighting conditions, at any time of the year under different weather conditions in order to detect and visually inspect foreign hidden objects.
