SEARCH SIGNALING DEVICES ISP-RM1704 / M / GN

A new class of small-sized, "pocket" gamma and gamma-neutron search devices of the pager type, fully combining the functionality of a search measuring instrument designed to detect and localize sources of ionizing radiation, with the function of conducting primary radioisotope identification and a meter / dosimeter with the function of measuring the ambient equivalent dose rate of gamma and the count rate of neutron radiation.

The distinctive features of this family of devices include the ability to conduct autonomous primary identification of the radionuclide composition of a substance, which does not require connection to an external processing and indication device (smartphone / PC / laptop / PDA, etc.), even taking into account the weakening and scattering effects of screens, containers and other objects of physical protection of IRS.

The identification results are displayed on a bright, high-contrast and easy-to-read display in a harmonious color scheme, indicating not only the designation of the identified radionuclides, but also the classes to which they belong, depending on the supplied libraries in accordance with the IAEA recommendations (or other requirements) - natural, medical, industrial, nuclear materials. The devices also have a built-in voice recorder for the operator to record comments - "sound marks" for the measured spectra. All modifications of the ISP-RM1704 have a USB interface for exchanging data with a smartphone / PC / laptop / PDA, etc., while the user software is automatically loaded directly from the non-volatile memory of the device itself.

The ISP-RM1704 devices are available in three modifications:
- ISP-RM1704 (basic model) with a built-in CsI(Tl) scintillation detector, allowing to search for gamma radiation sources and accumulate gamma spectra, and identify radioactive sources.
- ISP-PM1704M, in addition to the basic model, has a built-in Geiger-Muller counter, which expands the range of ambient equivalent dose rate measurement to 10 Sv/h (1000 R/h).
- ISP-PM1704GN, in addition to the basic model, has a Li6I(Eu) scintillation detector for searching and detecting neutron radiation sources.

At the customer's additional request, the device can be supplemented with the function of identifying special nuclear materials.

The devices have a minimum number of control buttons and an intuitive interface with quick access to all measurement modes and settings, which makes it possible to use them even without special preliminary training.

The possibility of network application of the devices is provided. They can be integrated into the Geoinformation Mobile Radiation Monitoring System NPNET (SRK NET).
