The explosives detector OVV-01 is designed to register traces of traditional nitrogen-containing explosives on the hands of persons who have had unauthorized contact with explosives (i.e. suspects in preparing terrorist acts at a protected facility) attempting to enter the protected facility.
FEATURES works with passes and plastic cards; short detection time; vandal-proof design; can be built into pedestrian checkpoints and turnstiles; can be used as part of an ACS or autonomously. COMPOSITION Product body (consists of a base and an upper removable cover) Desorption chamber Explosive vapor detection unit Coding device (KNU-K) Set of mounting parts. Spare parts kit Using the detector allows expanding the capabilities of the complexes of technical means of physical protection (KTSFZ) and access control and management systems (ACS) of especially important facilities, implementing the function of detecting the introduction of explosives into protected areas.
The OVV-1 product is intended for supply to the domestic market for use at nuclear power facilities. It is allowed to use the OVV-1 product in other industries under the operating conditions specified in the TU.
The detector, equipped with a built-in single-board controller, can be used both autonomously and as part of controlled barrier devices, and can be integrated into any hardware and software complex of the ACS using relay inputs, and together with it provide automated control of personnel access to the protected area (through pedestrian checkpoints).
The detector is mounted on building structures and/or flat surfaces of the checkpoint structure.
The detector provides: detection of explosives based on: nitroglycerin (NG), trinitrotoluene (TNT), hexogen (GG), foam erythrotetranitrate (PEN), as well as compositions based on them, including plastic explosives in the air during desorption of particles from a pass or other document, according to the dimensions corresponding to the plastic access card, while the threshold for detecting explosives is at least 5 10-10 grams of explosive (for NG, TNT, GG and PEN) under normal operating conditions; issuing an alarm signal to the light and sound indicator and/or to the ACS controller upon detection of microparticles of an explosive to make a decision on blocking the passage; saving the control results in the ACS database upon detection of microparticles (traces) of an explosive. The development of the product was based on the technical requirements for the means of detecting the presence (transportation) of explosives used in the physical protection systems of military unit 31600; in 2014, the OVV-1 passed acceptance tests (equivalent to state tests) and was recommended for supply to facilities of the RF Armed Forces.
