The Styx-4 system is designed for active protection of computing facilities from information leakage due to stray electromagnetic radiation and interference at facilities up to and including category 2. The system protects information from leaks:
due to stray electromagnetic radiation by creating an electromagnetic field of masking noise in the frequency range of 0.01 - 1800 MHz around technical equipment and peripheral devices connected to them, power supply circuits and data transmission cables; by inducing a noise masking electrical signal into the power supply and grounding lines extending from the Styx-4 security system, as well as into conductive lines and engineering communications in the frequency range of 0.01 - 400 MHz. An antenna installed inside the product housing is used to emit the generated noise signal into the air.
The Styx-4 security system is equipped with an operating time counter indicating the total operating time of the security system in hours in the masking noise generation mode. The maximum displayed time is 99999 hours. There is also a visual indication of normal operation and a visual and audible failure alarm.
