Portable automobile barriers "Liana" are designed to prevent unauthorized passage of passenger cars and trucks with pneumatic tires to restricted and other strategically important facilities by mechanically damaging the tires of the vehicle. In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 15.05.2010 N333, the product "LIANA" is included in the list of special means used by the departmental security of the State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom". The operational portable barrier "LIANA" is easily transported and quickly brought into combat position on almost any road surface. Quickly installed on the road surface. The width of the passage blocked by the "LIANA" barrier reaches from 6 to 12 m, depending on the modification. The height of the barrier spikes-perforators is 70±5 mm from the road surface. When not in use, the "LIANA" barrier is compactly transformed into a small case equipped with a carrying handle. To increase the effectiveness of the impact, the barrier spikes-perforators are made removable. The rods are made of a tubular profile, have a hinged base and are attached through a soft polymer cuff. Special notches on the spikes-perforators prevent the spikes from being pulled out of the tires when a car runs over the "LIANA", thereby effectively bleeding air from the tire, even with inflation. To enable permanent attachment to the road surface, the "LIANA" barrier is equipped with two metal pins with slings and metal carabiners. In order to increase the ease of transportation, the case of the "LIANA" products is equipped with a carrying handle, the case of the "LIANA-9000" product is also equipped with rollers.
