Portal gamma, neutron and gamma-neutron radiation monitors for monitoring people, baggage and mail. The modular design allows for easy adaptation and configuration of the system in accordance with customer requirements.
Pedestrian portal monitors are installed at facilities using or producing radioactive and nuclear materials, at border and customs checkpoints, in organizations and institutions to prevent illegal penetration of radiation sources into their territories.
Baggage monitors are widely used at airports and train stations to monitor baggage and cargo unloaded from airplanes and trains, at post offices to monitor mail, in banking institutions to monitor money supply and in other places. All RM5000A monitor models are formed using a universal multifunctional gamma and neutron radiation detection unit.
Radiation monitors can be mounted on the floor, suspended on walls in closed and open spaces and are designed for operation in adverse climatic conditions.
Depending on the requirements and purpose, pedestrian and luggage monitors can be single-sided or double-sided, and have different control zone heights. They are designed to monitor gamma, neutron, or both types of radiation at the same time.
The monitors can be equipped with video surveillance systems, the ability to exchange data with a computer, and pager communication with specialists responsible for performing radiation monitoring procedures.
The following models are recommended as pedestrian and luggage portal monitors of the PM5000A series: PM5000A-04, PM5000A-04H - single-sided gamma monitor with standard or increased sensitivity to gamma radiation (for PM5000A-04H); PM5000A-08, PM5000A-08H – single-sided gamma-neutron monitor based on one detection unit with standard or increased sensitivity to gamma radiation (for PM5000A-08H) PM5000A-12 – single-sided neutron monitor. PM5000P – single-sided gamma monitor with increased sensitivity
