SEARCH SIGNALING DEVICE ISP-RM1701M

The ISP-PM1701M search measuring and alarm device is designed to search for radioactive sources in hard-to-reach places, in conditions of poor visibility and in other adverse conditions. The device is widely used for radiation monitoring of scrap metal in accordance with MUK 2.6.1.1087-02. The device is equipped with a telescopic extension designed to conduct radiation monitoring in hard-to-reach places and provide higher radiation protection for the user, as well as headphones for ease of operation in conditions with increased noise levels.

Main characteristics:

  • Scintillation detector CsI(Tl) for searching for radioactive materials;
  • Sound alarm, headphones;
  • Non-volatile memory;
  • Communication with a personal computer via an infrared channel;
  • Ease of use.

When a radioactive source is detected, the user will hear an alarm signal in the headphones. The frequency of the alarm signal increases as you approach the source and decreases as you move away from it, which makes it easy to localize the radioactive source.
The ISP-PM1701M search meter-alarm is recommended for use in radiation monitoring of scrap metal and inspection of vehicles and cargo, during transportation and storage of radioactive materials, during emergency response or searching for radioactive sources.

Can be used:

  • at collection points for secondary raw materials;
  • employees of metal processing plants;
  • emergency response services;
  • a wide range of specialists who, by the nature of their work, are associated with the tasks of detecting radioactive materials.
