So, the "Vikhr S" model has a protection function against nearby radio stations and thermal compensation, which corrects sensitivity in real time depending on the ambient temperature. The effective operating range of this model is from -37 to +70 degrees. At the same time, it is possible to manually correct sensitivity depending on the tasks (this function is available through the engineering mode). An example is searching for SIM cards from mobile phones or the opposite solution, concentrating search tasks on dangerous objects, a gun, a knife.

The performance characteristics of this model are the maximum for this class of equipment, so the device's consumption is only 3 mA, which allows you to use the device for more than 100 hours without turning it off, when using an alkaline battery or about 400 hours from a lithium-ion battery.

Also, the modular charger, with the ability to mount it on the wall, is related to ease of use. This solution provides a charge for the included battery, and also organizes a place for storing the metal detector on the site.
