Gamma and gamma neutron monitors ISP-PM1710C and ISP-PM1710GNS are highly sensitive devices designed to ensure radiation safety of buildings. The monitors can be located either directly at the entrance to the building or mounted in doorways or on the walls in the corridors for continuous monitoring of people passing by and their luggage for the movement of radioactive sources.
High sensitivity for the ISP-PM1710C and ISP-PM1710GNS monitors is achieved by using an enlarged CsI(Tl) gamma detector and a He-3 neutron detector. The monitors can be easily removed from the wall mount and used as hand-held search devices.
If the threshold values are exceeded, an audible and visual alarm is activated.
The ISP-PM1710C and ISP-PM1710GNS monitors can be integrated into a single network based on RS485 and USB interfaces with connection to external light and sound alarm systems with output of operational information to the computer display. The operator can see the location of the device, receive information about the type of registered ionizing radiation and the dose rate level. The system does not require special maintenance and can be effectively used around the clock for radiation protection of buildings and crowded places.
