The inspection kit KALEIDOSKOP-P2 is designed for visual inspection of hidden and hard-to-reach cavities and surfaces of vehicles, mechanisms, containers, tanks, etc. during the process of identifying explosive objects, contraband, weapons, and terrorist means.
The kit includes everything necessary for searching the premises and technical facilities being inspected for electronic devices for covert information acquisition (EDIA) embedded in them.
The universal kit can also be used for visual inspection of hard-to-reach cavities and during activities to identify hiding places.
For detailed visual inspection of objects with complex geometry and objects that cannot be directly accessed, the kit includes a small-format inspection mirror "SHMEL-4" with an anti-glare coating, as well as a set of LED lights.
The rigid technical endoscope (borescope), included in the kit, is designed to inspect the internal cavities of machines and mechanisms, structural voids and units of various designs without dismantling them. It can be used both to assess the technical condition of units and mechanisms, and to identify hiding places in them. When working in low light conditions, the product is equipped with a backlight. If a side view of the inspected space is required, a side view mirror attachment included in the delivery set is used.
At the customer's request, a video endoscope with a working part length of 200 cm, LED backlighting and a video storage device for recording photos and videos of inspection results is supplied. A camera with a lens located at the end of the working part forms an image of the object being examined, which is displayed in the image display mode on the display in real time. If necessary, the image (photo or video) is recorded on a 2 GB memory card of the video recorder for further analysis and documentation. The video endoscope has a backlight function for working in darkened cavities.
The laser tape measure and rangefinder included in the universal set allow you to quickly determine the distance. The rangefinder is a combined device consisting of an optical monocular with magnification (7x) and a laser measuring device. A liquid crystal display is built into the optical system of the rangefinder. When the device is turned on, a grid for aiming appears in the center of the monocular's field of view and the distance to the object at which the rangefinder is aimed is displayed. Several operating modes allow you to get accurate indicators of the distance to the target in fog, rain, snow.
The multimeter supplied in the set measures direct and alternating current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, inductance, temperature, and is also used for ringing and testing circuits. The varied set of metalworking and special tools, measuring and indicator devices included in the set is designed for disassembling and assembling equipment of varying complexity, up to miniature ones in the SP process, as well as for dismantling and assembling various interior items in the SO process. A special set of marking tools (wavelength 365 nm) from the universal set will allow you to covertly mark equipment parts and furniture and interior elements, as well as check the integrity of the marking during inspection activities. For a detailed visual inspection of buildings and structures when searching for projectile EUNPI, as well as abnormal IR radiation, the set includes binoculars and night vision devices (supplied at the customer's request). The universal set of tools is supplied in special transport cases. Such cases are made of durable plastic with metal sides. Due to the removable tool panels, the set easily turns into an instrumental workstation, many pockets allow you to fix the tools in the desired position, which makes it possible to use them easily and quickly during work.
