Features
Identify unknown gases and vapors in seconds No user calibration required Level A ease of use Identify over 5,500 gases and vapors Reachback24/7 service
When you call a rapid response team to a potentially hazardous or toxic gas situation, the first question you will be asked is: “What gas are we talking about?” GasID allows you to answer this question in minutes.
GasID is a highly specialized device based on the analysis of the interaction of gases and vapors with infrared radiation. Each chemical substance has a unique infrared spectrum, which is what allows the identification with GasID.
The compact GasID sampling device is inserted into the potentially hazardous area for ten minutes.
After the gas or vapor is collected, the sample cell is disconnected from the pump, passed through a degassing line and then connected to the GasID system for analysis. E1users control the analysis process from the touch screen by sequentially switching between pages.
When analyzing an unknown substance, GasID instantly compares the obtained results with the database for identification. The database includes: WMA - Nerve and Blister Agents NIST/EPA Infrared Spectrum Database of Gaseous Substances Toxic Industrial Chemicals - Pacific Northwest National Lab
