Field indicator SEL SP-77/2M Catcher

The SEL SP-77/2M "Catcher" field indicator is designed for the rapid detection and search of radio-emitting devices with minimal radiation power, including:
- radio microphones;
- telephone radio repeaters;
- radio stethoscopes;
- low-power video transmitters;
- radio beacons of object tracking systems;
- unauthorized radio stations and radio telephones.

"Catcher" allows you to detect electromagnetic radiation, estimate the relative signal level and find its source.

The indicator has the following operating modes:

1. Search mode with sound, light and vibration indication.
Designed to detect covertly installed radio transmitting devices for data collection. Light indication on an 8-segment LED scale allows you to estimate the distance to the "bookmark" and simplifies its search. If necessary, sound and vibration indication can be disabled.
2. "Acousto-link" mode (acoustic feedback).
It is used to identify the detected radiation, allowing to distinguish the radiation of the bug against the background of other radio signals. The characteristic whistle that appears in the speaker after turning on this mode indicates that there is a working radio transmitting device with a microphone in the immediate vicinity.
3. Watchdog mode.
Allows to detect unknown radiation that appears in the examined room with minimal power consumption.
4. Pulse signal detection mode.
Designed to detect pulse digital transmission: mobile phones of GSM, DCS1800, DECT (except CDMA) standards.
