The "Buben" can operate in either of two modes: - generating speech-like interference, - generating "white noise" interference.
Mode - speech-like interference: In this mode, the product generates interference, the effect of which leads to the "destruction" of the meaning of individual phrases and sentences when converting a speech signal into an electrical copy using acoustic monitoring devices of all types (dictaphones, radio bugs, wired microphones, stethoscopes, etc.). In this case, the principle of recording or transmitting a speech signal in a specific acoustic monitoring device is irrelevant.
"White noise" mode: In this mode, the product generates interference, the effect of which leads to the creation of noise interference when trying to record or listen to an acoustic signal using covert information collection devices. Compared with "white noise" generators, the use of a speech-like interference generator provides an energy gain of several dB. That is, the specified reduction in the intelligibility of the protected conversations is ensured with a lower level of masking noise. If the negotiation regulations require the use of a "white noise" generator, it is recommended to use this mode.
