GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE PRODUCT The combined jammer of radio-electronic devices "Typhoon-6" (hereinafter referred to as the product) is designed to protect against unauthorized receipt of information using digital and kinematic voice recorders, including those installed in cell phones, smartphones such as the iPhone, and tablet computers such as the iPad. The product is controlled: - locally - by the "Work" button; - remotely - from the key fob of the remote control system via a radio channel (radio RC); - remotely - from the remote control system via a wired channel (RC). The range of the product for suppressing voice recorders depends on the type of voice recorder, specific features of the environment (the presence of metal surfaces, industrial installations, obstacles that impede direct visibility between the ultrasonic emitters and the sound recording device, etc.) and can reach three meters. To determine the effectiveness of the product, it is recommended to test the suppression of voice recorders in real operating conditions before use. The product is powered from a 220V network. The product does not interfere with the operation of electronic devices located outside the suppression zone. The product is mounted in a separate housing and is equipped with remote bidirectional antennas and ultrasonic emitter modules, radio remote control systems and wired remote control.
PRODUCT OPERATION PRINCIPLE The product is a high-frequency signal generator with a special type of modulation, due to which it affects the circuits of electronic devices, in which this signal, after being imposed, is processed in the AGC circuits together with the useful signal, significantly exceeding it in level and, accordingly, distorting it. To affect microphones, acoustic impact with ultrasonic frequencies is used. Such impact does not interfere with negotiations, but completely suppresses the impact of the speech signal with a high ultrasound pressure. The sound perceived by the microphone is converted into electrical oscillations, which are transmitted in one way or another to the corresponding devices for receiving and processing them. The axis of the main lobe of the radiation pattern of the microwave generator installed in the power unit is perpendicular to the plane of each antenna unit, its width in the horizontal plane is about 80 degrees, and in the vertical - about 60 degrees. The axis of the radiation pattern of each ultrasonic emitter is about 60 degrees in the horizontal and vertical planes.
THE PRODUCT DELIVERY SET INCLUDES: power unit - 1 pc; antenna unit - 2 pcs; ultrasonic emitter module with cord - 4 pcs; wired remote control with cord - 1 pc; radio remote control key fob - 2 pcs; product passport, technical description and operating instructions - 1 pc.

*Due to the wide variety of voice recorder types, their element base and design, as well as the peculiarities of propagation of radio waves in the ultrasonic and ultra-high frequency ranges, the full probability of suppressing sound recording is not guaranteed for all existing types of voice recorders.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Preparing the product for operation:
Install the body of the power unit of the product on the legs on a horizontal surface. Install and secure the antenna units and ultrasonic emitter modules under the tabletop, and direct them to the area of the most likely placement of information recording devices (the direction of the antenna radiation is indicated by a mark on the surface of the antenna unit). Connect the antenna units to the BNC connectors on the rear panel of the power unit (the order of connection does not matter). Connect the ultrasonic modules to the RJ-11 connectors on the rear panel of the power unit (the order of connection does not matter). Connect the wired remote control to the DIN connector on the rear panel of the power unit. ATTENTION! Do not point the antennas at your location - the voice recorder is in your opponent's possession!
Turning on the power supply:
Connect the power cord of the product to a 220V network.
Turn on the "Power" switch on the front panel of the power unit. The backlight of the "Power" switch lights up. If it does not light up, check the power cord and the serviceability of the fuse on the rear panel of the power unit. ATTENTION! Check the serviceability of the fuse only when the product is disconnected from 220V!
Turning on the "Work" mode Locally:
Press the green button on the front panel of the power unit, the "Work" indicator on the front panel of the power unit lights up. Remotely when using the radio - remote control system:
Slide the RDU key fob cover down. Fully extend the antenna on the RDU key fob. Press the "B" key fob button - the key fob backlight lights up briefly. The "Work" indicator on the front panel of the power unit lights up. Remotely when using a wired remote control system:
Press the button on the wired remote control. The "Work" indicator lights up on the front panel of the power unit and on the wired remote control. In order to prevent the product from failing, it is recommended to operate it in the "Work" mode for no more than 2 hours at a time (heating of the power unit body is allowed).
Disabling the "Work" mode Locally:
Press the red button on the front panel of the power unit, the "Work" indicator on the front panel of the power unit goes out.
Remotely when using a radio remote control system:
Press the "A" button on the key fob, the "Work" indicator on the front panel of the power unit goes out. Remotely when using a wired remote control system:
Press the button on the wired remote control. The "Work" indicator on the front panel of the power unit and on the wired remote control goes out.
