* The suppression range depends on the type of microphone, voice recorder or mobile phone and its location relative to the SEL-310 "Komar" voice recorder and microphone suppressor itself. In practice, most voice recorders and mobile phone microphones are effectively suppressed at a distance of up to 2 meters. But there are some models for which this distance does not exceed 0.5 m, and microphones of some electronic devices are well suppressed at distances of up to 10 m.
