The SEL-324V "Fan" voice recorder and microphone suppressor is an effective device for suppressing microphones in voice recorders, mobile phones and other audio recording devices by emitting complex structured interference in the ultrasonic range, inaudible to the human ear, but affecting the microphone membrane with its sound pressure directly.

* The suppression range depends on the type of microphone, voice recorder or mobile phone and its location relative to the SEL-324V "Fan" voice recorder and microphone suppressor itself. In practice, most voice recorders and mobile phone microphones are effectively suppressed at a distance of up to 2 m. But there are some models for which this distance does not exceed 0.5 meters, and microphones of some electronic devices are well suppressed at distances of up to 10 m.
