PM1904A is a new personal dosimeter of the POLISMART series, which is designed for continuous measurement of individual dose equivalent and individual dose equivalent rate of γ-radiation, as well as visual (light) and sound signaling of exceeding the established threshold levels.
The POLISMART®II PM1904A personal dosimeter, developed by the Polimaster team, is the latest development in the field of professional radiation monitoring devices for widespread use. The device is designed for professionals who, due to the nature of their work, may be exposed to the risk of radioactive exposure. No special knowledge in radiology is required to operate the device, so non-professionals can use PM1904A to monitor personal safety.
POLISMART®II PM1904A operates completely autonomously and can exchange data with the user's mobile device in real time via Bluetooth v 4.0 Low Energy Module (BLE112) (IOS, AndroidOS), on which the Polismart®II user software is installed. The user software is designed to display current ED and DER values, record ED and DER threshold levels, measure, record and display tracks, determine your geographic location using GPS. The free Polismart® mobile application is downloaded from the AppStoreSM or Google Play TM directly to your smartphone or tablet.
The device is designed to continuously measure the individual dose equivalent Hp (10) and the individual dose equivalent rate Hp (10) of γ-radiation, as well as visual (light) and sound alarms about exceeding the set threshold levels. It is possible to set two independent thresholds for ED and DER. The first threshold means CAUTION, the second threshold means DANGER. When the thresholds are exceeded, the PM1904A emits sound and flashing light signals, indicating that a radiation source is nearby or a critical dose has been accumulated.
For ease of use, a lanyard and a soft PVC badge with a clip are provided.
