Portable laboratory complex for detection of hidden traces "SVX-K"

The professional portable laboratory complex for detecting hidden traces "SVX-K" was developed with the participation of employees of the Investigative Committee and professionals of the expert-criminalistic centers of the Russian Federation.

The device allows, using the radiation of light sources with different wavelengths and corresponding optical filters, to produce photo recording and detection of biological secretions, traces of blood, seminal fluid, bone and tooth fragments, various fibers on the objects under study, as well as to solve a wide range of problems related to expert activities. A distinctive feature of the device is the ability to perform "full" editing of the obtained images, as well as output the received information in the form of a finished photo report.

DESIGN FEATURES OF THE DEVICE

The device is a complex consisting of a protected workstation with a visualization module and expert light sources.

The protected workstation with a visualization module is connected to the expert light sources "SVX-K" and, using various optical filters, the operator makes photo-fixation of objects. The protected station has two software programs:

The SVX-K program is designed to capture and visualize images. This software has the following main functional capabilities:

Control of camera settings (white balance, exposure, focusing in automatic and manual modes, and much more);
Capture and save images;
10X optical zoom;
Digital zoom, etc.
The Report program is designed to create a photo table. This software has the following main functional capabilities:

Loading images;
Applying editable notes to images in the form of text and various shapes, including arrows, lines, rectangles, and circles;
Creating comments on the research process.
Determining the size of saved objects:
- area measurement;
- length measurement;
- angle measurement.
Creating a report in the form of a photo table with dimensions and notes.
Expert light sources are made of high-power narrow-band LEDs.

The ultraviolet expert light source has a power of at least 25 W.

The blue expert light source has a power of at least 27 W.

The infrared expert light source has a power of at least 15 W.

A distinctive feature of these light sources is the use of highly efficient optical elements. Narrow-band SMD LEDs and the Device's cutting filters allow for maximum visualization (contrast) of an object against the background. Expert light sources can be used without a protected workstation and visualization module; for this, the operator can use the light filter glasses supplied in the kit. The entire kit is packed in a protected plastic case of the PELI type on wheels. The case has a shoulder strap for possible carrying.
