The stationary X-ray unit with dual energy mode KALAN-2M is designed to examine individual items (parcels, small packages, hand luggage, etc.) in order to detect explosive devices, bladed and firearms, as well as other items prohibited for transportation. Complete radiation safety of the unit allows it to be used as an incoming inspection tool and placed in any office premises (at enterprises, in offices, etc.).
KALAN-2M can operate in the mode of recognizing groups of substances, with the help of which it is possible to separate them into organic and inorganic, as well as in the mode of automatic selection of suspicious areas.
The unit has small dimensions, modern design. The body is equipped with a mobile base for moving the unit within the premises by one operator. All the main functions for controlling the unit are available on the remote control, which significantly simplifies the operator's work and increases the productivity of control.
The stationary X-ray television installation "Kalan-2M" received a certificate of conformity with the requirements of Government Resolution No. 969. This certificate of conformity No. 000015 certifies that this equipment complies with subparagraphs a, c, d, e of paragraph 20 of the requirements for the functional properties of technical means of ensuring transport security, approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated September 26, 2016 No. 969. According to this Resolution, from 2017 all transport security facilities (railway stations, airports, transport hubs, sea and river ports and crossings, metro, etc.) must be equipped exclusively with certified equipment that must comply with the requirements of Government Resolution No. 969. The received certificate certifies that the stationary X-ray television installation "Kalan-2M" can be used at all transport infrastructure facilities for the purpose of ensuring security.
