The GSM base station simulator "IBS-2G" is designed in accordance with modern methods of searching for cellular communication devices. It is recommended to use it when conducting special surveys of designated premises and special checks of technical equipment.
Purpose The simulator is designed to detect, identify and locate electronic devices for covert information acquisition that use cellular communication channels to transmit information.
Specifications
Name Value Note Equipment capabilities for active search of cellular communication devices The simulator acts as a false GSM 900/1800 MHz base station. To forcefully transfer multi-standard bugs to GSM mode, it is recommended to suppress them in the 3G/4G ranges using the Salamandra/Salamandra 2 PAC Overall dimensions of the radio module (case) 365x286x117 WxHxD, mm, no more Weight of the radio module (case) 4 kg, no more Power of the GSM radio transmitter 2 W, no more Brief description The IBS-2G simulator is controlled and configured using a PC (laptop). The operator is given the opportunity to deploy a false GSM 900/1800 base station at the work site. The following BS parameters are freely configurable:
operator name (MCC country code, MNC cellular network code) channel number (CH, frequency) base station number (Cell ID) local area code LAC (Local Area Code) Operating principle The simulator automatically and forcibly transfers indoor GSM cellular devices under its control. Then the following functions become available:
determining the IMEI/IMSI of detected devices; sending a free SMS; switching the GSM device to active mode (transmission mode) for a long time. When the device is kept in active mode with maximum radiated power, the operator detects a GSM bug indoors using a narrowband field indicator (purchased separately).
