ST 401 CAYMAN portable non-linear locator

The main difference between the ST401 and the basic model is the absence of a telescopic rod.
ST401 is especially convenient when working in a confined space, when checking small-sized cargo, mail, and when inspecting people.
ST 401 allows you to detect both on and off electronic devices, as well as accurately determine their installation location. Using the locator, the operator can distinguish the "responses" of real semiconductors from "false" signals (corrosion, metal, metal-oxide-metal structure).

The main distinguishing feature of the CAYMAN series nonlinear locators is the use of a multi-frequency radiation mode, which allows for a number of advantages over locators created using the classical scheme:

increased selectivity (the ability to distinguish electronic components against the background of a metal-oxide-metal structure);
increased probability of detecting electronic devices behind partially shielded surfaces (for example, a chain-link mesh);
optimal ratio of radiation power and detection range;
the ability to identify detected objects in audio mode;
the ability to effectively use the locator in difficult interference conditions.
The updated version of ST401 compares favorably with the previous version due to:

more ergonomic design.
