The inspection detector of radioactive and metal objects "SPHINX" VM-611RD-2.0 is designed for the simultaneous detection of radioactive and nuclear materials by their gamma radiation, as well as objects made of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, during personal inspection, baggage and correspondence control at checkpoints and checkpoints of any civil and military facilities. The device "SPHINX" VM-611RD-2.0 detects sources of radioactive radiation and metal objects carried by people, such as weapons, containers for radioactive materials.
The "SPHINX" VM-611RD-2.0 model is designed to provide a solution to urgent problems related to counteracting the unauthorized movement of radioactive and nuclear materials. The device can be used by enterprises of the nuclear industrial complex, customs control and inspection services, special units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Security Service, security companies and other services as a portable means of detecting radioactive materials made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Advantages:
high sensitivity; simultaneous monitoring of the presence of radioactive and metal objects; automatic sensitivity adjustment; low power consumption; detection of all types of metals; bright light and sound indication of detection; easy to use; no false alarms; recharging the battery without dismantling it; shockproof case; low battery indication; ergonomic design. Technical specifications:
Working frequency of the metal detector - 50 kHz; Detection probability - 0.98; Sensitivity - PM pistol - 200 mm. (corresponds to VM-611VIKHR);
The gamma radiation detector (scintillator) has the following characteristics: The energy range of the registered gamma radiation is from 0.03 to 3 MeV; The pulse sensitivity of the detector (for Cs137) is 200 (imp/s)/ (μSv/h); The limits of the permissible basic relative measurement error (for the Cs137 line) are no more than + 30%; The response threshold for the DER is 0.3 μSv/h*; The frequency of false alarms in the UV radiation search mode is no more than one alarm at a UV background level of 0.1-0.2 μSv/h in 10 minutes; * can be changed at the customer's request;
Power supply - 9V; Continuous operation time — about 120 h. (when using U9VL-J 9V); Current consumption - 10 mA; Low battery indication threshold - 6.5 V; Weight — 0.38 kg.; Dimensions — 420x80x30 mm.; Operating temperature range - -15...+50 C°
