ACE-ID - Raman Spectrometer HAND-HAND IDENTIFIER FOR CONTACTLESS DETERMINATION OF EXPLOSIVES, TOXIC, CHEMICAL AND NARCOTIC SUBSTANCES

Key Features
Quickly identifies solids, liquids, gels and powders.
Proprietary mixture analysis software identifies up to two components in a sample.
Integrated software suite for remote operation and reporting.
Compact, simple and lightweight.
Easy-to-use, intuitive graphical interface requires minimal training.

ACE-ID is a next-generation Raman-based handheld identifier designed for the detection of explosives and precursors, as well as narcotics and toxic substances. It identifies solids, powders and aqueous solutions, and performs mixture analysis.

With Raman spectroscopy, ACE-ID enables non-contact analysis that provides immediate results. Materials can be identified through transparent and translucent containers, such as plastic and glass. In addition, non-contact analysis is also supported by the remote operation software suite.

The ACE-ID can be used in harsh climates and terrains. The device is lightweight and can be used with just one hand.

The intuitive software interface guides you through the entire identification process, making it easy to use for military and non-military explosives teams, as well as hazardous materials disaster response teams.

The ACE-ID uses an advanced optical platform to minimize heating of dark samples during analysis. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery and provides an automatic statistical report on demand.

Optimum performance of the ACE-ID is ensured by a world-class support program and ReachBacklD™ service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The ACE-ID is a product of Smiths Detection, a leading provider of technology and advanced services to government agencies for the detection and identification of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive materials, as well as other hazardous and restricted substances.
